We all lead busy lives with work, school, and activities, and that often means our family members come and go from our homes at different times. Because our children are sometimes home alone for a period of time, it is very important to educate them about home security. One of the easiest ways to educate your family about home security is to create a list of home security do’s and don’ts. Writing them down and posting them in a visible location such as on the refrigerator is a good idea to make sure that they are reviewed often. It can also be fun to enlist each family member for ideas, making it a group effort. At Advanced Lock & Security, your family’s security is important to us, so we’ve compiled a list of home security do’s and don’ts to help get you started with your own home security plan.
